OUTDOOR POOL RENOVATION
EWERT PARK COMMUNITY POOL

Joplin, Missouri

The City of Joplin, Missouri requested Larkin Aquatics to plan and develop a renovation for their existing outdoor pool facility located in Ewert Park. With a construction budget less than $1 million, Larkin designers developed a plan that utilized the existing facility and provided the Owner the option to add features in the future. By including the mechanical piping within the new structure and beneath the deck, the City was given the option of adding future water features at a relatively low cost. In addition, engineers designed around the diving well in such a way that it could easily be replaced when additional funding becomes available.
