OUTDOOR AQUATIC CENTER

Kearney, Nebraska

This 5,749 s.f. facility replaces an existing “T-shaped” pool, which no longer met the needs of the community, nor the dimensional and recirculation requirements of the state. The pool was designed for its value within the community and is planned for future expansion. Renovations were made to the existing bathhouse, which increase its ability to service the new facility. Facility features and amenities are to bid as alternatives with rough-in completed within the base bid. This gives the Owner flexibility to decide whether to install features as a portion of the original construction or to add them in the future.
