FAMILY AQUATIC CENTER

Nixa, Missouri

The citizens of Nixa were convinced of their need for a recreational facility where families could relax and play together. Fun in the sun and excitement for all ages is what Nixa wanted, and this facility has something for everyone. After much research by Larkin Aquatics’ design team and deliberation by the City, the Nixa Aquatic Center became the answer to their dreams. The aquatic facility was designed as part of a Community Center/Outdoor Pool Recreation Facility.

The aquatic center design boasts a pool water surface of more than 11,000 square feet, a concrete deck of more than 13,000 square feet, and a grass deck area for sunbathing making up more than 1,900 square feet. The facility offers offer a mix of competitive and recreational uses for adults, children and the young of heart.
The aquatic facility opened in time for the 2002 swim season.
