QUINCY COUNTRY CLUB
OUTDOOR POOL RENOVATION
Quincy, Illinois
Larkin Aquatics provided design and engineering services in the renovation of the Quincy Country Club Pool. Their existing outdoor aquatic facility was aging and did not contain a design that suited all of its members. By adding amenities such as a zero depth entry, a new diving well and slide, the pool is now able to accommodate a variety of age groups. Larkin designers utilized the existing bathhouse facility and provided the Owner the option to add features in the future. By including the mechanical piping within the new structure and beneath the deck, the Club was given the option of adding future water features at a relatively low cost. In addition, engineers designed around the diving well in such a way that it could easily be replaced when additional funding becomes available.
