The public swimming pool has been a cornerstone of summer activity in Trenton for decades. Over the years, several generations of families have enjoyed swimming, playing, and exercising at the Trenton Swimming Pool. But the many years of use and exposure to the harsh swimming environment have taken a toll on the pool causing substantial water loss and physical deterioration. The Trenton Park Board began working with Larkin Aquatics as the aquatic design consultant to develop options for renovating or replacing the pool. After the completion of an existing conditions study and report as well as much consideration and discussion, the Park Board determined that the best option for the community was to replace, rather than renovate, the existing pool. Larkin developed a pool layout that will cost effectively replace the pool with a new facility that has features for all age groups.
