Kingswood Indoor Aquatherapy Pool

This inddor aquatic therapy and recreation pool was constructed as an addition to Kingswood Manor, an upscale senior living community in Kansas City, Missouri. The facility offers a moderately sized body of water designed specifically for aqua-aerobics, aqua therapy, and aquatic exercise programs. The main pool is accessible both by zero-depth style sloped entry and by pool stairs.
This facility also includes a warm water spa pool complete with aerated therapy jets. The raised spa is located to one end of the main pool and features a waterfall that spills into the main body of water. The spa water will be maintained at a higher temperature than the main pool, and utilized for relaxation and as a conversation area.
The natatorium struture has been designed to offer ample natural lighting and the pool deck is poured in colored concrete to accent the warm, natural finishes of the building interior.
